National Sections (NAGs) of the ECCSW
Excerpt from the Bylaws (§ 9)
The association affords the foundation of national sections (NAGs) as dependent subdivisions to allow members to pursue and represent country-specific issues. NAGs are limited to one per country. |
Founding a NAG requires at least five full members to submit an application including a set of bylaws to the board of directors. The board of directors passes a decision on the application. |
The bylaws also have to include regulations about sending a delegate or several delegates to the extended executive committee. |
Tasks
NAGs may, for example, address the following tasks in their country-specific contexts (the tasks listed below are intended as a basis for discussion):
Recognizing and bundling developments in clinical social work and associated fields (practice/continuing education/research); |
Preparing statements on issues that are ECCSW-relevant political topics; |
Introducing specific topics and members into existing sections; |
Suggesting new sections; |
Broaching topics with the extended executive committee; |
Assisting with the organization of conferences; |
Suggesting structures for quality control. |
The following NAGs have been founded so far
